A self-taught artist from Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine, currently living in  Uzbekistan, Yuriy Grebenyuk is an Artist-painter and Graphic Artist who is a member of the Union of Artists at the Academy of Arts, Uzbekistan.

Yuriy works with different techniques and art directions, including watercolour, oil, graphics, and avant-garde trends. A recurring theme in his artworks is the focus on illustrations featuring a mixture of nature and flower vases.

In his pieces, Yuriy enhances the strong dynamism of his composition by employing a broad, sweeping, multi-layered painting style.

Yuriy believes that colour in its various forms and combination of shades and tones creates harmony similar to the delicacy and subtlety of musical chords. To him, intense colours bring a painting to life and radiate positive energy. As such, he uses a complex colour palette to express his intense internal feelings and temperament.

Yuriy’s paintings resonate in the hearts of many collectors and art lovers. They are seen in numerous private collections across various countries such as the USA, England, Japan, India, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, China, Greece and more. He has taken part in several national and international exhibitions. He has also held personal exhibitions at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Memorial House Museum of the Urals Tansykbaev in Tashkent.
