Graphic artist.
1946 - was born in Kanko, North Korea.
1967-1971 - studying at the Dagestan Art School named after MA Dzhemal in the city of Makhachkala.
1998 - Honored Worker of the Komi Republic.
2002 - laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Komi.
2006 - People's Artist of the Republic of Komi, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR
Vasilieva is known as a graphic artist, working in different styles, techniques and genres. Acquired popularity as a master of watercolour, after which she tried her hand at techniques of pastels and gouache, in painting. Some works from among the last in the series "In Montenegro" are made in the method of oil pastels.
Her paintings are permeated with poetry, subtle, spiritual lyricism and reflect the process of the spiritual formation of personality. In all the artworks of the artist traced the central theme - humanism in combination with the constant search for beauty and harmony in everything. Her creativity was inherent in the assertion of life in all its manifestations as an absolute good, absolute value. The artist travels a lot, continually acquires new knowledge and impressions, which is immediately reflected in the pictures that people of different social status and education like because they find a response in the person's soul.
Genres and styles of her paintings are diverse: landscape, portrait, still life realistic (the series "The White Wind of Solovki" in 1999, "The Light over Valaam" 2000) and abstract ("The Seasons" series of 2006, "City" 2006 and others). For its creativity is characterised by blurring the boundaries of genres and styles - one seamlessly combined with another.
Vasilyeva's masterpieces were exhibited at a variety of exhibitions - republican, zonal, all-Russian, all-Union, international (Hungary, Finland, Germany, Paris).
