Natalia Novikova was born on 9 November 1976 in the city of Moscow. From early childhood, she travelled around the country, living in the Arctic, the Far East, and the Baltics. She currently lives in Moscow.
Natalia studied art under the guidance of Alexey Alekseevich Kleidins, who worked with various techniques such as graphics, gouache, watercolour, and pastel. She was also a pupil of the Honoured Artist of Russia, Mark Viktorovich Ginzburg, the originator of an exclusive method of teaching painting.
1998: Graduates from the Art and Graphic Department of the Moscow Pedagogical State University of VI Lenin. Her thesis was on jewellery art.
1999: Joins the International Art Fund.
2007: Receives a silver medal “Participant VVC”.
2016: Joins the Union of Artists of Russia, actively cooperates with the publishing house “Nash Izograf”, and participates in various exhibitions in Moscow and other cities.
Currently, Natalia’s main creative activity is the urban landscape, the relationship between city and man. This topic has been developed under the pseudonym of Natalia Voroshilova.
Natalia’s works are currently in the collections of the Moscow Museum, the Lipetsk Art Museum, the Kolomensky Kremlin Museum, the Sergiev Posad Museum of Toys, the Kargopol Museum of History and Architecture, the Museum of the Kenozersky National Park, the Moscow Pedagogical State University Museum, and many private and corporate collections in Russia, Europe and Asia.
