The works of Dilshod Eshmatov emotionally and tangibly convey the spirit of Uzbekistan, the life of ordinary people, the admiration of nature, and the love of their native places. Colour and light reflect the emotional structure of his works. They reflect the harmony of the Eastern miniature with soft, warm colours with full cold shades of specially selected elements.
His work is distinguished by lyricism, tenderness, and tradition. Pictures are light, full of kindness and love. Emotional expression, the expressiveness of moving contours, and the extraordinary mobility of compositions convey a profound philosophical meaning, reflecting the East’s wisdom.
The artist works in all genres of fine arts. His portraits are lively; they reflect a person’s character and mental state.
The artist himself considers as his teachers Akmal Nur, Hakim Mirzaakhmedov, A. Abdullaev, N. Kuziboev, S. Rakhmetov, M. Toshmurodov, H. Aminov, M. Ergashev.
