Vibrant Cuckoo is a mixed media artist born in Moscow, Russia, living in Singapore for the past eight years. Her artistic style is guided by positivity and colour, which she uses to explore contemporary art materials to create striking combinations. The artist primarily works figuratively and utilizes various media such as watercolour, ink, and acrylics. Vibrant Cuckoo’s portfolio features paintings of different sizes, including large pieces, with the largest measuring 320 by 150 cm to date. Her artwork has been exhibited both locally in Singapore and internationally.

Driven to bring positivity and joy to the viewer, Vibrant Cuckoo intentionally introduces playful elements and uses vibrant colours in her paintings. Each piece tells a story, with the artist’s goal to bring a smile to the viewer’s face, even if only for a moment. She believes in the power of art to bring light and turn negative emotions into positive ones and seeks to achieve this through her work.

To quote Wassily Kandinsky, “Colour is a power which directly influences the soul,” Vibrant Cuckoo uses this belief as the foundation for her art. Through her use of colour and intentional themes, the artist aims to create an emotional impact on the viewer and bring joy to their lives.
