My painting “Three Graces” shows my love to the national Uzbek dance. Chingiz Akhmarov, the famous artist of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan and my grandfather, having visited many countries in the world and he noted that the Uzbek dance is one of the most graceful and plastic dances in the World. As I grew up and traveled in a lot of countries, I was convinced myself. Dance displays innocence, chastity, modesty, restraint, but at the same time the genuine interest to the World and feelings that are full of soul.
On the canvas, I painted girls in national dresses of three different regions of my homeland. Against the backdrop of dancing girls, the coverlet “palyak” (from the Persian word “faljak” – the sky), it symbolizes space, the flow of the river of time, the rotation of the wheel of fate. The work, as it were, tells the viewer that despite technological progress, changes in society, modern challenges, humanity will never lose its virtue, curiosity, and the sense of beauty.
