Birch Tree, Vitaly Didenko (Turkmenistan) – Exquisite Art
An aged tree that has survived a temporary death with the arrival of winter is solemnly awaiting a period of rebirth and transformation. The work was conceived on a cold morning in Russia. The birch, captured in the painting by Vitaly Didenko, against the background of the twilight winter firmament, appears before us as a symbol of some reminder of the inferno of life. To some extent, we all have deep feelings for this delicate and robust tree. Especially for a Russian-speaking person, birch is associated with memories, past, home, and childhood.
The work was painted in Turkmenistan in the image the author retained after his winter trip to Russia. Vitaly Didenko’s “Birch” has visited Helsinki and Singapore.
